Evidence and uncertainty
Keep the evidence in proportion.
Questions about cognition, neurodegeneration, and recovery can draw attention to preliminary or speculative material. Resources discussing ibogaine and Alzheimer’s questions and ibogaine in dementia discussions should be read with particular care: serious conditions require qualified medical guidance.
Likewise, interest in ibogaine and neuroplasticity does not establish a clinical outcome. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration explains that drug development depends on evidence for safety and effectiveness before approval; consult its drug development and approval process for the broader regulatory context.
Information can sharpen the questions. It cannot establish suitability, replace screening, or remove risk.
